Traktor Kontrol Z1 is a two-channel DJ mixer controller with a built-in audio interface. It features channel gain controls, three-band EQ, filters, volume faders, a crossfader, level meters and headphone cueing. The RCA master output allows direct connection to speakers or a sound system.
Traktor Kontrol X1 MK1 provides hands-on control of two Traktor decks and two effects units. It allows the DJ to browse and load tracks, control playback, cue points, loops and effects without constantly using the computer mouse. Backlit buttons provide clear visual feedback, while high-resolution controls offer precise operation during a performance. It can also operate as a standard MIDI controller.
Used together, the Z1 handles mixing, monitoring and audio output, while the X1 controls tracks, loops and effects. This creates a lightweight and highly portable DJ setup suitable for parties, private events and live performances. Native Instruments specifically designed the Z1 to work alongside additional controllers such as the X1.
